Fox’s upcoming revival of The X-Files has found three new recruits, with Robbie Amell (The Flash), Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under) and Kumail Nanjiani (Silicon Valley) all signing on to appear in the six-episode event series.

Amell has secured the role of Agent Miller and Ambrose is set to play Agent Einstein, while THR reports that Nanjiana will appear in an episode entitled ‘Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Monster’, where he’ll play an animal control officer who aids the FBI agents in their attempt to catch a mysterious creature.
The X-Files will return to FOC on January 24th 2016, with David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprising the roles of Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.
