According to their latest report, writer Scott Snyder is set to end his five year run on Batman, which is said to be moving to a bi-weekly publishing schedule this summer. However, he will still remain involved with The Dark Knight, and will instead move over to Detective Comics, where it’s said he’ll enjoy more creative freedom than he does on the main series.

Snyder originally began has Batman career on Detective Comics, beginning with issue #871 in January 2011 before moving over to the main title that September.
