Russell Crowe to appear in Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder

March 30, 2021 by EJ Moreno

Recently leaked photos teased his appearance, but it’s now confirmed that Russell Crowe is set to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe with an appearance in Thor: Love And Thunder. Taika Waititi is pulling out all the stops in his second film for Marvel Studios, with Crowe being another huge name who has signed on to appear.

Crowe is joining heavy-hitters like Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Chris Pratt, and Christian Bale in the cast of the film. We also recently learned that Matt Damon is reprising his cameo role from Thor: Ragnarok alongside Sam Neill and Luke Hemsworth as the Asgardian acting troupe, with a surprise addition as ‘Hela’.

Though his part remains undisclosed, multiple reports say Crowe has been cast in a minor role. His appearance was originally intended to be a surprise for fans but fell victim to another leak in a string of photos and reports from the Thor: Love And Thunder set. You can see the images below of Crowe being spotted with the director and cast of the film…
