Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone duet “City of Stars” from La La Land released

November 18, 2016 by Justin Cook

On top of its expert direction, dazzling performances and stunning cinematography, many who have seen Damien Chazelle’s La La Land claim to walk away from the musical humming songs from its stellar soundtrack. While the trailers have given viewers snippets of songs that will be heard in the movie, not until recently has an official track from the movie been released for everyone’s listening pleasure. Listen to the Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone duet “City of Stars,” which was played in the film’s first trailer back in July, down below…

The song certainly isn’t the most lively one from the picture, but a quietly beautiful and charming one nonetheless.

According to Variety, La La Land: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack will be available for purchase and download on December 9th when the movie begins its theatrical run in limited release.
