Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans finally set to reunite on Jason Bateman’s Project Artemis

April 1, 2022 by Matt Rodgers

Apple Studios has already attempted to reunite Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans once, with scheduling conflicts forcing the former Black Widow to be replaced by Ana de Armas on Ghosted. Well, if at first you don’t succeed, spend $100M+ on another film called Project Artemis, and have the Avengers assemble again.

Reported by Deadline, and confirmed by Evans via his Twitter account (see below), Project Artemis will be directed by Emmy Award winning Ozark star Jason Bateman. There are no details on the plot, but according to sources the film will be set against the space race.

Very excited!!! https://t.co/duEzfPCsF3

— Chris Evans (@ChrisEvans) March 31, 2022

Evans is currently filming Ghosted, and will win his own space race against Project Artemis when he is seen blasting into orbit for Disney-Pixar’s Lightyear, which is set for release on June 17th, while Johansson has wrapped on Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City, and also has a ‘top secret’ project with Marvel on her shooting slate.

There’s not a lot to go on bar the tip-top credentials of Johansson, Evans, and Bateman, but do let us know via our social channels @FlickeringMyth if you’re excited about Project Artemis…
