Shane Black says The Predator is R-rated as “PG-13 is for pussies”

February 20, 2017 by Robert Kojder

Technically this isn’t new information as director Shane Black has already revealed his reboot of The Predator would be rated R, but it’s always good to get updates and reassurance. Although this time Shane took it up a notch, tweeting that PG-13 is for pussies.

SEE ALSO: The Predator is not a sequel, Arnold Schwarzenegger cameo unlikely

And, just to be clear… PG-13 is for pussies. Spines bleed… a lot.

— Shane Black (@BonafideBlack) February 18, 2017

The cast of The Predator includes Boyd Holbrook (Logan), Trevante Rhodes (Moonlight), Thomas Jane (The Punisher), Jacob Tremblay (Room) Sterling K. Brown (This is Us, The People v. O.J. Simpson), Keegan-Michael Key (Key & Peele) and Olivia Munn (X-Men: Apocalypse). The film is currently set for a February 9th, 2018 release.
