She-Hulk’s Jameela Jamil says Titania is the MCU’s “most annoying” villain

August 1, 2022 by Gary Collinson

While she wasn’t sniffing fellow MCU star Paul Rudd at the San Diego Comic-Con International last week, actress Jameela Jamil took some time to speak to Screen Rant about her upcoming role as Titania in Marvel Studios’ next Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

Asked how her character will stand out among the ever-growing roster of baddies within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Jamil responded by describing Titania as the most annoying villain we’ve met so far.

“Titania stands out because I think she’s the most annoying of them, actually,” said the actress. “I think she almost doesn’t need to use her strength; she could just annoy you to death. And I think that is a superpower that we haven’t really utilized enough. She’s also very glamorous. I like the fact that she’s a bit curvy, and I like the fact that she’s completely unselfconscious. She’s completely unselfconscious and so, so weird. We’ll see.”

Jamil’s comments come just weeks after she spoke out to “accept every ounce of shade” that was thrown her way by fans disappointed by a first-look at the villain in full costume.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law stars Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/Abomination, Benedict Wong as Wong, and Jameela Jamil as Titania, alongside Griffin Matthews, Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass, and Renée Elise Goldsberry.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premieres on Disney+ on August 17th.
