Shiny Shoe launch Mixer exclusive streaming RPG Death’s Door: Aftermath

June 26, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Indie game studio Shiny Shoe have launched their pioneering social RPG Death’s Door: Aftermath exclusively onto Microsoft’s streaming platform Mixer.  This innovative new game is a must for RPG and fantasy fans and will provide a unique interactive experience where the whole community has the power to change the direction of the game. You can join in the fun here.

Death’s Door: Aftermath takes players to a post apocalyptic wasteland to follow the journey of the Revenant as he travels through this world corrupted by the evil of The Faceless One.

Using a timed voting mechanic the community can decide upon what happens in each situation when the live Dungeon Master (designated player/moderator) enters the stream.  Those taking part can expect character customisation options, a world map to explore and regular fresh content.

“We’re excited to greet the Death’s Door: Aftermath gamers on Mixer today who will determine how this new episodic experience will evolve,” said Mark Cooke, Shiny Shoe CEO. “Part choose your own RPG adventure and community gathering place, the dynamic Dungeon Master events are sure to shake up the gameplay in fun and sometimes controversial ways.”

“Shiny Shoe continues to pioneer interactive streaming on Mixer, leveraging some of the latest and greatest MixPlay features,” said Ben Favreau, Mixer product marketing manager. “We’re looking forward to Death’s Door: Aftermath, building off of the success of the first Death’s Door chapter, which surpassed over 1 million viewers on Mixer last year.”

Death’s Door: Aftermath will stream on Mixer from 10 am – 10 pm PST from Tuesday through till Sunday.
