Silent Hill 2 story trailer gives us a fresh look at the terrifying town’s PS5 makeover

The world of Silent Hill is beginning to reanimate following a 12-year hiatus. Not only do we have a brand new movie creeping our way, but there is videogame sequel Silent Hill F set for release, and perhaps most exciting of all, a reboot of the franchise high-water mark Silent Hill 2, for which Konami and Bloober Team has just released a brand new story trailer.

Originally released in 2001, Silent Hill 2 tells the story of James Sunderland, a widower who journeys to the town of Silent Hill after receiving a letter from his dead wife, only discover it overrun by monsters and memories that blur into one. Check out the trailer below…

Investigating a letter from his late wife, James returns to where they made so many memories – Silent Hill. What he finds is a ghost town, prowled by disturbing monsters and cloaked in deep fog. Confront the monsters, solve puzzles, and search for traces of your wife.
