According to Deadline, Simone Missick (Ray Donovan) has nabbed the lead female role of ‘Missy’, a.k.a. Misty Knight, in Marvel’s upcoming Netflix series Luke Cage.
Just yesterday, it was announced that Rosario Dawson will be reprising her role as Claire Temple from Daredevil alongside her upcoming Jessica Jones co-star Mike Colter as Power Man, while Theo Rossi (Sons of Anarchy) and Alfre Woodard (Desperate Housewives) will play the villains Shades and Black Mariah.
Luke Cage is slated to get underway in 2016, while the character will be introduced in Jessica Jones later this year.
