Solo Leveling: ARISE celebrates its 100th day anniversary with events and more

August 23, 2024 by Andrew Newton

It’s 100 days since Solo Leveling: ARISE was released and to celebrate this 100th day anniversary Netmarble has released a new update that brings events, new content and valuable rewards. It also sees the arrival of the SSR Tier and wind-type SSR healer Han Se-Mi.

Han Se-Mi is an SSR Tier healer that is now available as a playable character.  She is excellent on the battlefield, not just for her ability to heal but also for her ‘Divine Field’ skill that creates a circular protection zone and her ‘Vines of Vitality’ ultimate skill that blesses her team members with vital life energy.  Han Se-Mi isn’t the only hunter that can be recruited as Go Gunhee is also now available.  Go Gunhee is a light-type SSR tank that is known for his ultimate skill ‘Supernova’, this skill allows him to gather a massive orb of light that he can fire at his enemies.

This update also introduces a brand-new Guild System that allows players to take part in Guild activities such as challenging Guild bosses and playing mini games.  These activities allow players to earn currency that can be exchanged for rewards at the Guild Exchange Shop.

Sung Jinwoo’s job title can also be improved to ‘The Monarch of Shadows: Soul Shepherd’ and players are able to obtain three new Sung Jinwoo-exclusive weapons: the SSR Zeke’s Fragment the SSR Juicy Grilled Skewer and the SSR Truth: Demon Knight’s Spear.

Other new content includes new swimsuit costumes for Han Se-Mi, Emma Laurent and Alicia Blanche, new hidden chapters in Reverse Story Mode, Sung Jinwoo’s new skill ‘Sonic Stream’, the new Blessing Stones ‘Swift Strike’ and ‘We Are One’ and the arrival of the 51st-60th floors the Battlefield of Trials.

The celebratory events now available include:

  • The Happy 100th Day Event from 22nd August to 12th September players can take part in new mini-games like the Heart-Pounding Tank Tower with rewards including the Sung Jinwoo-exclusive ‘SSR Juicy Grilled Skewer’. This can be earned by clearing 100th Day Daily Missions and by playing the mini-game ‘Squeaky Clean Beach Cleanup’.
  • A Special Lucky Capsule Event will give the chance for players to gain Emma Laurent’s swimsuit costume.
  • Running until 25th September is the 100th-Day Celebration Check-In Gift. Players logging in during this event will be able to earn great rewards like the SSR hunter Go Gunhee, up to 50 Custom Draw Tickets, Heroic Rune Chests, Heroic Blessing Stone Chests and more.
