Sonic the Hedgehog 3 trailer pits Sonic against Shadow

Paramount Pictures has debuted the first trailer, along with a poster and images for director Jeff Fowler’s third instalment in the action adventure franchise Sonic the Hedgehog 3 which sees Sonic, Knuckles and Tails reuniting to take on the mysterious new villain Shadow; check them out here…

Sonic the Hedgehog returns to the big screen this holiday season in his most thrilling adventure yet. Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails reunite against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike anything they have faced before. With their abilities outmatched in every way, Team Sonic must seek out an unlikely alliance in hopes of stopping Shadow and protecting the planet.

The film sees the return of Ben Schwartz, Jim Carrey, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Idris Elba, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, Natasha Rothwell, Shemar Moore, Adam Pally, Lee Majdoub, alongside franchise newcomers newcomers Alyla Browne, Krysten Ritter, and Keanu Reeves as the voice of Shadow the Hedgehog.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 arrives in cinemas on December 20th.
