Sophie Turner and Jessica Chastain face off in X-Men: Dark Phoenix reshoot photos

With additional photography now underway, several photos from the Montreal set of X-Men: Dark Phoenix have surfaced on Twitter, which show Sophie Turner’s Jean Grey locked in combat with Jessica Chastain’s mystery villain. Given that both actresses are in full motion-capture suits, we can probably assume that Jean Grey has gone full-on Phoenix during this confrontation…

X-Men: Dark Phoenix sees Simon Kinberg directing a cast that includes franchise veterans Michael Fassbender (Magneto), James McAvoy (Professor X), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler) and Evan Peters (Quicksilver) alongside new additions Jessica Chastain (Molly’s Game) and Lamar Johnson (Kings). It is set for release on February 14th 2019.
