Soulslike ARPG AI Limit unveils pre-order trailer

January 11, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Sense Games and CE-Asia have announced that their highly-anticipated Soulslike ARPG AI Limit is now available to pre-order on Steam and the Playstation store for the PS5.  Accompanying this announcement is a new trailer (see below) that showcases new views of Havenswell, the last city of humanity.

In AI Limit, the world’s artificial ecosystem has collapsed and natural disasters and war have brought civilisation to its knees.  In this catastrophe’s wake, a strange substance known as Mud has spread everywhere bringing with it a plethora of cold-hearted monsters that destroy all in their path.

Havenswell is the last city of mankind and it is here where players will begin their journey.  Taking the role of a Blader, a new human looking life form created by mysterious technology, players will embark on a lonely journey through the cold and damp sewers, layers of slums, sky city above the lake and more to seek out the truth of the destruction of civilisation.

Bladers have the ability to respawn after death with the aid of Branches, but with all the Branches destroyed it is up to players to seek them out around the city and repair them.  During their journey, players will encounter humans and fellow Bladers who all have their own stories and problems but who will help uncover the truth behind the plagues and disasters.  There are also many powerful weapons, clothing and relics to discover as players guide their Blader through the ruins.

Also available on Steam and Playstation is a new demo.  This demo has had the game performance and gameplay tweaked following player feedback. The Boss Challenge mode also has had new weapons, equipment and spells added.

Both a Standard and Deluxe Editions of AI Limit are available to pre-order now, with the Deluxe Edition featuring an exclusive in-game armour & helm: White Sparrow’s Coat & Mask, the mighty Opossums Sais weapon, a digital art book, 3 Mud Balls and 3 Pure Crystal.  Those who pre-order either edition will receive a bonus Maid Outfit & Hairband.
