Would you enter the Squid Game? That’s the question presented to 456 real people as they enter a reality competition version of the iconic Netflix series.
Squid Game: The Challenge is a wild competition show unlike any other, inspired by the now-iconic Korean series of the same name. Four hundred fifty-six people will be against each other in a tournament featuring some familiar games for a massive prize of $4.56 million.
While the series will obviously feature non-fatal eliminations, the series has not been without its controversy. There were claims from some contestants about how grueling the challenges were during their time on the show, and that’s seemingly reflected in the trailer. “This is a savage game,” one contestant exclaims in the trailer.
