Marvel Comics has announced the upcoming release of Star Wars Legends: The Newspaper Strips Omnibus, a 1,096-page hardcover volume collecting colorised versions of the classic Los Angeles Times Syndicate’s Star Wars comic strips.
Originally running in newspapers between 1979 and 1985 and previously collected and colorised by Dark Horse, the Omnibus features Classic Star Wars: The Early Adventures (1994) #1-9, Classic Star Wars: Han Solo at Stars’ End (1997) #1-3, Classic Star Wars (1992) #1-20, Classic Star Wars: A New Hope (1994) #1-2, Classic Star Wars: The Vandelhelm Mission (1995) #1, and Star Wars newspaper strips (“The Constancia Affair,” “The Kashyyyk Depths,” “Planet of Kadril”).
