Star Wars: The Clone Wars animator suggests the show might not be ending

April 22, 2020 by Samuel Brace

Gianni Aliotti, an animator for Star Wars: The Clone Wars, has tweeted out a statement that seems to indicate the show might not end quite yet.

Lucasfilm delighted fans when they announced that Star Wars: The Clone Wars was returning for one last season. That season is underway right now on Disney+ but is it really the end?

Well, Gianni Aliotti, a lighting and effects supervisor on the show, took to Twitter to express his delights at fans enjoying the show once more and suggested that if people keep watching, more could follow:

“Glad to see so much love for our work in #TheCloneWars again. Keep loving them and we’ll keep making more. 🙂 And fear not, we at Lucasfilm Animation are still going strong, even during #COVID19”

It’s possible that Aliotti only meant that Lucasfilm will keep making more animated shows in general but his wording certainly suggests he was talking about The Clone Wars. Who knows, perhaps Disney is so happy with the response, they want more to be made! We will see…
