Asmodee and Fantasy Flight Games have announced that they will bring the galaxy-spanning war between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance to tabletops in March 2023 with the release of Star Wars: The Deckbuilding Game.
The two-player head-to-head game pits opponents as the Empire and the Rebels, with each player working to strengthen the power of their starting decks with additional units and capital ships before taking the fight to the enemy to destroy their bases.
The Rebel Alliance fights valiantly against the tyranny of the Galactic Empire. Each new victory brings the Rebels hope, and each heroic sacrifice strengthens their resolve. Still, the Empire’s resources are vast, and the firepower of its Empire Navy is unmatched. With neither side willing to accept defeat, their war rages across the galaxy…
