Developer Team Ninja has got the Dead or Alive community buzzing today with a flurry of announcements for the upcoming Dead or Alive 6, these announcements include the pre-launch Deluxe Demo, a Dead or Alive 6 eSports venture and a collaboration with SNK.
The Deluxe Demo will be available to players on Xbox One and Playstation 4 from 22nd to 24th February and will consist of Free Training, Tutorial, Command Training, Combo Challenge, online ranked and lobby matches and the introduction to the story mode.
There will be 24 characters available during this time including Kasumi, Helena, Hayate, Hayabusa, Jann Lee, Zack, Diego, Rig, Hitomi, Leifang, Ayane, Marie Rose, Honoka, Bayman, Bass, Tina, Mila, Christie, Nico, Kokoro, La Mariposa, Brad Wong, Eliot, And Raidou.
A collaboration was announced with SNK for the game’s Season Pass 1 with SNK’s King of Fighters XIV’s Mai Shiranui addition to the roster. She will be joined by another soon to be mentioned combatant. The Pass will be available on the game’s day of release and will also include 62 new costumes, including DOA6 Happy Wedding Costumes Vol. 1 and 2, DOA6 New Costumes set Vol. 1 and 2, NiCO and Nyotengu costumes, and costumes for the two SNK fighters.
There’s also set to be the Dead or Alive 6 World Championship eSports tournament with qualifiers to take place in Europe, North America and Asia, and the grand final to take place in Japan. Prizes for the qualifiers and grand final will be the equivalent to 10 Million Yen, so if you’re good at the game then it will be worth taking part.
Look out for Dead or Alive 6 arriving on Xbox One and Playstation 4 on 1st March.
