Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown gets a trailer and May release date

March 14, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Paramount Game Studios and developer Strange Scaffold have announced that their upcoming turn-based beat-em-up, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown, will launch on Steam for PC on 22nd May.  Watch the new video below celebrating the release date.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown is the first turn-based Turtles game ever and tackles their story in a bold new way.  In this new title, Splinter and the evil Shredder are dead and the Turtles are rapidly approaching adulthood. The four usually inseparable brothers are growing apart but there’s a new threat looming as a powerful new leader unites the Foot Clan, and this threat may just bring the brothers back together.

Players will battle their way through 20 constantly changing levels that will grow and shrink, and even add new threats with every turn.  Each of the four brothers have their own unique movesets and players will be able to modify their loadouts and unlock skills.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown features:

  • 20 action-filled levels that are divided into campaigns that focus on the individual characters.
  • A unique take on the story of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
  • Turn-based beat-em-up levels with ever-changing arenas.
  • Graphic novel inspired art style.
  • Customisable movesets for each Turtle.
  • A multi-genre soundtrack from award-winning composer RJ Lake (Unbeatable, Elsewhere).

Look out for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown arriving on Steam on 22nd May.
