TERA’s Skywatch: Aerial Island update arrives next week

October 11, 2019 by Andrew Newton

En Masse Entertainment has announced that they will be releasing the Skywatch: Aerial Island for their action MMORPG TERA on 15th October.  This latest update marks the end of the Skywatch series and brings a new landmass, a new card collection system and more.  A new video has been released (below) providing an overview of the new digital card system.

Skywatch: Aerial Island takes players to the new Exodor Archipelago and is filled with new content including challenging new quests, BAMs and a solo dungeon, Akalath Quarantine.  This new landmass will also provide new fisheries to drop your line in and a range of new gear known as Dranium Gear. Dranium gear provides increased Defense, Amplification and Resistance bonuses, and although it can’t be upgraded it can enchant up to +15.

The new Card Collection system provides players with another way to power their character and customise their stats.  As players journey through the world, fighting their way through dungeons, killing monsters and taking part in PvP modes, they can collect digital card fragments which can be combined with others to form a complete card.  Once completed, these cards will grant passive stat boosts and powerful buffs.

Be sure to visit the new Aerial Island when the update releases next week.
