Terror is hereditary in trailer for serial killer horror Megalomaniac

August 20, 2023 by Amie Cranswick

Dark Star Pictures has released a trailer, poster and images for writer-director Karim Ouelhaj’s horror Megalomaniac.

The film centres on siblings Martha and Felix (Eline Schumacher and Benjamin Ramon), children of a notorious serial killer who find their lives crushed by their father’s legacy as Felix takes over his work, committing his own brutal murders, while the unstable and insecure Martha falls into madness after spending her days viciously bullied and violently assaulted at work. Watch the trailer below…

Martha and Félix are the children of the Butcher of Mons, a notorious Belgian serial killer from the 1990s. Unstable and riddled with insecurities, Martha lives vicariously through social media. Her brother, crushed by the family legacy, takes over their father’s killings. Harassed and violently assaulted at work, the docile Martha falls into madness and goes through the looking glass into the strange and terrifying world inhabited by her brother.
