The Blue Rose trailer invites us to 1950s Hollyweird

June 22, 2024 by Amie Cranswick

Following its premiere at FrightFest last year, Dark Sky Films has shared a trailer for The Blue Rose, the 1950s-set genre-bending noir from writer-director George Baron.

The film centres on two detectives (Baron and Olivia Scott Welch) as they find themselves trapped in a nightmarish alternate reality while investigating a murder. Take a look at the trailer below…

A genre-bending surrealist noir set in the 1950s, THE BLUE ROSE follows the one-night journey of two rookie detectives as they set out to solve a seemingly clear-cut homicide, only to find themselves in an alternate reality of their worst nightmares.

The cast of Blue Rose also includes Danielle Bisutti, Nikko Austen Smith, Glume Harlow, Jordyn Denning, Evee Bui, Sophie Cooper, Logan Miller and Ray Wise.

The Blue Rose arrives on digital platforms on July 12th.
