The Boys season 3 to premiere in June, college spin-off teased

Amazon’s dark superhero series The Boys has set a return date for its third season. Revealed in a webisode of the show’s in-universe news program Seven on 7, The Boys season three will premiere on June 3rd. Watch the video with new footage of the season below…

Seven on 7 has had monthly webisodes with Vought News Network anchor Cameron Coleman, played by Matthew Edison, delivering his takes on events while teasing storylines for the new season. The webisode ends with a preview of Homelander and Starlight at the Vought headquarters.

The Boys will premiere with its first three episodes on June 3 followed by weekly episodes to its finale on July 8.

In addition, Seven on 7 also teased the upcoming college-themed spin-off. In The Boys universe, anyone young with superpowers are sent to Goldolkin University, America’s only university for super-powered people, in a Hunger Games-like situation where they compete for the best contracts and social status. The unnamed spin-off is run by Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters (Kevin (Probably) Saves the World). Jaz Sinclair (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Lizze Broadway (American Pie Presents Girls’ Rules), Shane Paul McGhie (Deputy), Aimee Carrero (Elena of Avalor) and Maddie Phillips (Teenage Bounty Hunters) are starring in the series.

The Boys season 3 sees the return of Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Tomer Capon, Laz Alonso, Karen Fukuhara, Antony Starr, Dominique McElligott, Erin Moriarty, Jessie Usher, Nathan Mitchell, Chace Crawford, Claudia Doumit, Colby Minifie, and Giancarlo Esposito, alongside series newcomers Laurie Holden (The Walking Dead) as Crimson Countess, Jensen Ackles (Supernatural) as Soldier Boy, Katia Winter (Sleepy Hollow) as Little Nina, Sean Patrick Flanery (Dexter) as Gunpowder, Nick Wechsler (Revenge) as Blue Hawk, and Miles Gaston Villanueva (Law & Order: True Crime: —The Menendez Murders) as Supersonic.
