The CW developing superhero dramedy Super Clean

November 30, 2018 by Gary Collinson

The CW is looking to expand its superhero output, and its stepping outside of the DC universe this time…

As reported by Deadline, the network is developing a dramedy entitled Super Clean, which is based upon Heath Amodio and Cullen Bunn’s upcoming graphic novel SuperCLEAN, and is said to explore the superhero genre from the human side.

Written and executive produced by Sascha Rothchild (GLOW), Super Clean follows “Becky Masters, an uber-organized and brilliant human, and her ragtag team of non-powered cohorts , as they navigate the danger and drama of ‘cleaning up’ after superheroes and villains, all while Becky works to prove her superhero boyfriend is innocent of a dastardly crime.”

Comic book creator Bunn is set to produce the potential series, with Rothchild executive producing alongside Amodio, John Baldecchi and Doug Barry.
