The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics to arrive on PC and consoles next February

December 5, 2019 by Andrew Newton

En Masse Entertainment and developer BonusXP have today announced that their multiplatform strategy RPG The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics will launch on Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC/Mac on 4th February 2020.  Based on the hit Netflix Original Series, this brand new strategy title will reimagine the world of The Dark Crystal.  Check out the new trailer below……

In The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics players are taken to the land of Thra where they will embark on a quest alongside the heroic Gelfling to restore light to the world and fulfill the prophecy. The land of Thra contains diverse territories with each providing more history on the Gelflings and their history.  During the course of the 80 unique, turn-based campaign battles, players will encounter new new allies who can be recruited in to the fight against the malevolent Skeksis. Gelfling units can be customised with upgradable abilities and different equipment to take part in specific fights.

Players will be able to build their party of adventurers and heroes from a selection of over 15 unique characters and jobs and experiment with these to form strategies that fit their playstyle.

As players progress through the game and explore the various lands of Thra, they will experience an epic quest to unite the seven Gelfling clans against the evil Skeksis in a sidestory that runs parallel to the Netflix series.

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics will arrive on PC and consoles on 4th February 2020.
