Michael Troughton’s Second Doctor faces new adventures this August in The Second Doctor Adventures: The Haunted Windmill, a new full-cast audio drama that takes the Doctor and his companions to an alternate Earth where the Doctor had never visited.
The upcoming box set will feature three new adventures for the Second Doctor and his companions Jamie (Frazer Hines), Zoe (Wendy Padbury), and Raven (Emma Noakes). These new adventures are:
The Haunted Windmill – When an Emergency Beacon Alert from Gallifrey activates, the Doctor and his friends make a desperate plan for escape, one that takes the TARDIS to a very strange land, but one that is eerily familiar.
The Crystal Ship – Tragedy strikes when a rocket-plane mission fails and crashes to Earth with none of the crew aboard. Professor Quigley and his trusty, undervalued assistant, Liz Shaw soon meet the Doctor and Raven, but will scientific hubris end mankind?
The Hungry Glass – A mysterious mirror, a glimpsed figure and powerful static electric discharges attracts the attention of the Doctor and his companions, but they aren’t the only one drawn to this strange shining beacon of events.
Joining the TARDIS crew are Jon Culshaw as Lethbridge-Stewart, Daisy Ashford as Liz Shaw, Nicholas Briggs as the crystalline Krotons, Ilan Galkoff, Roger Ringrose, Becky Wright, Olivia Woolhouse, and Wayne Forester.
