The Expendables 4 to shoot in the fall

March 9, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Back in October of last year it was reported that Nu Image and Millennium had made pre-sale distribution deals in China for the fourth instalment of The Expendables franchise, and now Randy Couture has confirmed to The Arnold Fans that filming on The Expendables 4 will get underway in the fall.

As yet, there’s been no official word on casting for the latest chapter of the action franchise, although there has been speculation that Sylvester Stallone could sit out the next instalment following his Oscar-nominated turn as Rocky Balboa in Creed. Meanwhile, Hulk Hogan has also claimed that Stallone wants him for the villain role in The Expendables 4, although as with anything that Hogan says, that should probably be taken with a pinch of salt.

In addition to the movie franchise, it was announced last year that The Expendables could be heading to the small screen, with Sly and Avi Lerner producing an event series which would “unite iconic TV stars as a new team of highly-skilled heroes who are on a mission to stop a dangerous terrorist.”
