The Expendables screenwriter to pen The Wolf Man

October 15, 2016 by Gary Collinson

As Universal Pictures gears up to launch its Classic Monsters universe with next year’s The Mummy, THR is reporting that the studio has brought on board a new screenwriter for its remake of The Wolf Man.

According to the site, Dave Callaham (The Expendables) has signed on to rewrite the original draft from Aaron Guzikowski (Prisoners). As yet, there’s no word on who is set to direct the project, but Alex Kurtzman (The Mummy) and Chris Morgan (Fast & Furious) are producing, while Dwayne Johnson is reportedly wanted for the lead role.
