The Ghostbusters are back in business as Sony has released the first teaser trailer for the Afterlife sequel Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. Watch the trailer below…
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire sees McKenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, Carrie Coon, Paul Rudd, Celeste O’Connor and Logan Kim reprise their Ghostbusters: Afterlife roles alongside franchise veterans Ernie Hudson, Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd. Joining them is Kumail Nanjiani and Patton Oswalt as new members of the Ghostbusters, just in time for a new supernatural threat that will turn New York City into an icy tundra unless the new and old Ghostbusters can stop it.
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire finds the Spengler family returning to where it all started, the iconic New York City firehouse, to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.
Ghosrbusters: Frozen Empire is directed by Gil Kenan and written by Kenan and Ghostbusters: Afterlife director Jason Reitman.
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire will be released March 29th, 2024.
