The House of the Dead: Remake physical editions available now

September 5, 2023 by Andrew Newton

Microids, Forever Entertainment and developer MegaPixel Studio have announced the release of physical editions of The House of the Dead: Remake for Playstation 5. The game is available in both standard edition and a special Limidead Edition, which includes themed items for fans to enjoy.

The House of the Dead: Remake allows gamers, both new and old, to rediscover the classic zombie fighting action from the iconic game released back in the mid 1990s and found in every arcade.

The Standard Edition includes just the game, whilst the Limidead Edition includes the game in a normal case, an exclusive box with a lenticular design, two creatures stands and a sticker sheet.

In The House of the Dead: Remake a genius, yet insane, biochemist and geneticist gains the power to reanimate the dead. This horrifying success leads one of his researchers, Sophie Richards, to contact two friends with the skills and abilities necessary to rescue the lab’ personnel and stop the mad scientist in his tracks.  As Thomas Rogan, and Agent G in two player mode, players will make their way through the mansion, fending off hordes of undead and nightmarish creatures.

The remake features:

  • All new visuals, audios and game modes.
  • Playable in solo or two player modes.
  • Non-stop action through the nightmarish mansion.
  • Discover a bestiary of creatures and learn their weaknesses.

The Limidead Edition of The House of the Dead: Remake and its standard version are now available for the PS5 in retail stores.
