The Killing Kind trailer sees a twisted cat-and-mouse stalker at play

May 9, 2024 by Ricky Church

Hulu has released a new trailer for the UK crime thriller The Killing Kind which will premiere next week. Starring Emma Appleton (The Witcher) and Colin Morgan (Merlin), the series sees a criminal defense attorney being stalked by her former client and lover, but the danger may go even further than that. Watch the trailer below…

The Killing Kind is adapted from Jane Casey’s novel and will premiere all of its six episodes on May 14th. The series was originally going to be for Paramount+, but was among several shows Paramount pulled from its service with no warning earlier this year. Hulu picked the series up following its Paramount removal and quickly set the US premiere date.

The series also stars Elliot Barnes-Worrell (Domina), Olivia D’Lima (Casualty), Sara Powell (Last Christmas), Nicholas Rowe (Rosaline) and Sophie Stanton (The Full Monty).

The Killing Kind follows Ingrid Lewis, a successful defense attorney who successfully defends a client, John Webster, against stalking charges. They subsequently have a brief relationship, which ends badly, only for him to come back into her life a year later. When a colleague is run down, Webster claims he is the only one who can protect her from the killer, setting up a deadly game of cat and mouse.

The Killing Kind stars Emma Appleton (The Witcher), Colin Morgan (Merlin), Elliot Barnes-Worrell (Domina), Olivia D’Lima (Casualty), Sara Powell (Last Christmas), Nicholas Rowe (Rosaline) and Sophie Stanton (The Full Monty).

The Killing Kind will premiere on Hulu on May 14th.
