Can The Penguin tear down the empire from the inside out?
In the trailer for the new HBO series, we’re looking at Gotham’s crime world like never before. Colin Farrell leads the upcoming series, reprising his role from 2022’s hit film The Batman, and looks to be upping the ante.
The new teaser also reveals the twisted story surrounding Sofia Falcone, played by Cristin Milioti, and her life in Arkham Asylum. Will Oswald Cobbleplot be able to handle her and the bubbling drama of Gotham? Check out the SDCC trailer below…
As we saw in Matt Reeves’ The Batman, The Penguin was only the lieutenant to crime boss Carmine Falcone. Now, in this new series, The Penguin is stepping up to lead crime in Gotham City.
The show also stars Cristin Milioti (Sofia Falcone), Rhenzy Feliz (Victor Aguilar), Michael Kelly (Johnny Viti), Shohreh Aghdashloo (Nadia Maroni), Deirdre O’Connell (Francis Cobb), Clancy Brown (Salvatore Maroni), James Madio (Milos Grapa), Scott Cohen (Luca Falcone), Michael Zegen (Alberto Falcone), Carmen Ejogo (Eve Karlo), Theo Rossi (Dr. Julian Rush).
The Penguin, a new HBO Original Limited Series, is premiering September 19 on Max.
