Focus Features has released a poster and trailer for Hot Spot, the dystopian sci-fi thriller from director Agnieszka Smoczynska which stars Andrzej Konopka, Noomi Rapace, and Reika Kirishima.
Set in the late 21st century, in a society ruled by sentient A.I., the film follows a private detective as he uncovers a secret group with the ability to subvert their world’s digital overlord during his investigation into a murder. Check out the trailer below…
In Hot Spot, set in a near future society ruled by sentient A.I., a private eye investigates a murder case only to discover a rebel group capable of undermining the digital overlord. As the detective’s identity slowly unravels, his world enters a state of hypnotic meltdown.
