The Umbrella Academy trailer teases the final season

May 30, 2024 by Ricky Church

This summer will see the fourth and final season of The Umbrella Academy premiere on Netflix and the streamer has released the teaser trailer along with a couple of promotional images from the upcoming season. Check them out below…

Season 3 ended with reality altered once again as the Hargreeves entered a world where they lost their powers, a couple of their family members returned while others remain missing. The world also seems to be under the control of Reginald Hargreeves, their adoptive father. The final season will see the siblings reunite to try setting the universe right. The official synopsis reads:

The Hargreeves siblings have scattered after the climactic showdown at the Hotel Oblivion led to a complete reset of their timeline. Stripped of their powers, each is left to fend for themselves and find a new normal — with wildly varying degrees of success. Yet the trappings of their uncanny new world prove too hard to ignore for very long. Their father Reginald, alive and well, has stepped out of the shadows and into the public eye, overseeing a powerful and nefarious business empire. A mysterious association known as The Keepers holds clandestine meetings believing the reality they’re living in is a lie and a great reckoning is coming. As these strange new forces conspire around them, the Umbrella Academy must come together one last time — and risk upsetting the shaky peace they’ve all endured so much to secure — to finally set things right.

The Umbrella Academy stars Elliot Page as Viktor, Tom Hopper, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, David Castañeda as Diego, Aidan Gallagher as Number Five, Justin H. Min as Ben, Ritu Arya as Lila and Colm Feore as Reginald.

The Umbrella Academy season four will premiere on August 8th.
