Oldroyd’s first film since 2016’s Lady Macbeth is an adaptation of Ottessa Moshfegh’s award-winning book, which tells the story of a timid prison worker (Mckenzie) whose world is turned upside following the arrival of her glamourous new boss (Hathaway).
