With Supergirl just a few weeks away from release, DC Studios has officially announced that tickets for the film are now on sale with the release of a final trailer for the comic book blockbuster.

Directed by Craig Gillespie, Supergirl is adaptation of Tom King and Bilquis Evely’s Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow which sees the Girl of Steel on a cosmic journey hunting an intergalactic criminal. Milly Alcock reprises her Superman cameo role as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl.
Supergirl is the next DC Studios film to be released in the new cinematic universe that began with last summer’s Superman. It will be followed by the body horror Clayface in September and next summer’s Man of Tomorrow, which will again see Alcock as Supergirl as her, Superman and Lex Luthor face off against the villainous Brainiac.
Additional upcoming DC projects set in the universe are Lanterns, which premieres this August and will see Aaron Pierre’s Green Lantern John Stewart return in Man of Tomorrow, and a second season of the animated Creature Commandos series which is in production for a 2027 release.
Outside of the DC universe, audiences will see Superman and Supergirl again in the third season of My Adventures with Superman in July and more of Robert Pattinson as Batman in The Batman Part II, which is currently filming for an October 1st, 2027 release date.

Supergirl is directed by Craig Gillespie (I, Tonya) and stars Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El, Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills, Eve Ridley as Ruthye Marye Knoll, Jason Momoa as Lobo, David Krumholtz as Zor-El, Emily Beecham as Alura In-Ze, and David Corenswet as Superman.
