Lionsgate has debuted the first trailer for The Dreadful, the upcoming gothic horror from writer-director Natasha Kermani which reunites Game of Thrones stars Sophie Turner and Kit Harington.
The film centres on a young woman who struggles to survive, living a solitary life with her mother-in-law on the outskirts of society in medieval England, until a man from their past returns, setting off a terrible chain of events.
Joining Turner and Harington in the cast are Marcia Gay Harden, and Laurence O’Fuarain. Watch the trailer below…
Set in medieval England, Anne and her domineering mother-in-law Morwen struggle to survive on the outskirts of society. But when a man from Anne’s past returns from war, a curse begins to take shape through a mysterious knight and threatens to destroy them all.
