Aisling Franciosi endures a Stopmotion nightmare in trailer for new horror

IFC Films has released a poster and trailer for director Robert Morgan’s upcoming horror Stopmotion.

Aisling Franciosi (The Nightingale) stars as Ella, a stop-motion animator struggling with the death of her mother who believes the characters from her film are taking on a life of their own as her mind begins to fracture. Watch the trailer below…

 Ella Blake, a stop-motion animator struggling to control her demons after the loss of her overbearing mother, embarks upon the creation of a film that becomes the battleground for her sanity. As Ella’s mind starts to fracture, the characters in her project take on a life of their own.

Stopmotion arrives in cinemas on February 23rd.
