Unleash the undead with roguelite Necroking

September 5, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Alawar and KORO.GAMES have announced the release of their medieval turn-based tactics roguelite Necroking on Steam.  This turn-based roguelite with deckbuilder elements will have players commanding hordes of undead to conquer the land.  Watch the new launch trailer below….

In the world of Necroking the land is teeming with life, settlements, towns and cities thrive and the human population increases.  This is obviously not great news for the Necroking, ruler of all the undead, so he decides to get rid of the taint of life.

As the Necroking players will lead the legions of undead troops into the lands of the living to conquer cities, villages, graveyards and more.  There are over 30 units of vile undead creatures available with which to deploy in battle and crush the living.

Throughout their campaign of conquest players will be able to unlock Skulls that can be used to grant new abilities to and upgrades to the units.

With every new run, players will encounter new challenges and unique scenarios that require quick decisions to be made to prevent the battles turning in the enemy’s favour.

Necroking features:

  • Wear the crown of the Necroking and utilise the dark powers of necromancy.
  • More than 30 types of undead minions to command and send into battle.
  • Engage in real-time tactical battles where strategic decision-making and quick reflexes are essential to victory.
  • Customise playstyles by unlocking new Skulls and upgrading units.
  • Every playthrough is unique with procedurally generated levels and challenges.
  • Hand-crafted pixel-art graphics.

Necroking is available on Steam now, with a 10% discount valid until 18th September.
