UPDATE: Speaking to ET, actor Tom Ellis has denied that he’ll be making a cameo appearance as Lucifer Morningstar in Crisis on Infinite Earths, stating that: “Right, okay, see… this is what happens. I go to Vancouver for the weekend to visit my friend for his birthday and now suddenly, I’m in a different show! “No! Hard pass, sorry… Sorry fans.”

Lucifer fans may not have to wait until next year to catch up with Tom Ellis’ Lucifer Morningstar, as it is being reported that the actor may be linking up with The CW’s DC Comics characters for a guest appearance in the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths Arrowverse event.
According to a report from the reliable Canadagraphs on Twitter, David Ramsey (Diggle), Katherine McNamara (Mia Smoak) and Matt Ryan (Constantine) shot a scene on Friday night, where they were joined by Tom Ellis who was said to be in costume as devilishly charming Lucifer.

As Screen Rant points out, both Crisis on Infinite Earths and the fifth and final season of Lucifer are both shooting in Vancouver, so it’s possible that Ellis was simply visiting the set. However, that also makes it pretty convenient should the producers want to take the opportunity to throw in another DC Universe-related character…
