Iron Maiden’s The Legacy of the Beast European Tour is in full swing with the band currently working through its UK leg and to celebrate this, World of Warplanes will bring the scaled replica Spitfire that appears onstage during the opening number, Aces High, into the game. A new video diary with Iron Maiden lead singer Bruce Dickinson can be seen below…
From 6th August till 13th August, players will be able to take on a mission marathon that will give them the opportunity to earn the Supermarine Spitfire Mk Vb IM. But that’s not all, the pilot is Iron Maiden’s very own mascot, Eddie. To earn the Spitfire and Eddie players will have to work their way through five challenging stages.
“World of Warplanes and Iron Maiden share a passion; we are both the ultimate proponents of heavy metal!! Ours involves high speed aircraft, theirs power and musical dexterity.” said Al King, Product Marketing Director of World of Warplanes. “To have the opportunity to work with the Maiden Team to bring such a key piece of the Legacy of the Beast Tour to life is a fantastic opportunity & responsibility and one we relish.”
