February 12, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Saber Interactive has announced that their highly anticipated co-op shooter World War Z will launch on the Xbox One, Playstation4 and PC on 16th April.  They’ve also announced that pre-orders are available now.  You can watch the brand new release date announcement trailer below…

World War Z is a unique co-op experience that will take players on a journey to iconic locations, including New York, Moscow and Jerusalem, to face off against hundreds of fast moving, bloodthirsty zombies thanks to Saber’s dynamic Swarm Engine.  Players will be able to fight against huge swarms of fast moving zombies as one of six playable classes with each having their own unique playstyle and different abilities.  A large arsenal of deadly weapons, explosives, turrets and traps will assist in helping survivors see another day.

Players will be able to take on the undead through intense campaign missions around the world or, as was recently announced, take on both AI zombies and other players in competitive, team based PvPvZ battles.

Gamers who pre-order World War Z will receive the Lobo Weapon Pack at no extra charge.  This pack will contain golden skins for three weapons: the ARK-103 assault rifle, Keris V10 SMG and 1911 Protector as well as the titular Lobo melee weapon.
