May 4, 2019 by Gary Collinson

FX has announced that its mind-bending Marvel series Legion is set to return for its third and final season on Monday, June 24th, shifting from its previous Tuesday night slot.

Legion is created by Noah Hawley (Fargo) and stars Dan Stevens as David Haller, the son of Professor Charles Xavier and an omega level mutant who, in the season two finale, was revealed to be the villain of the show.

Stevens is joined in the cast of Legion by Rachel Keller, Aubrey Plaza, Bill Irwin, Jeremie Harris, Amber Midthunder, Jean Smart, Katie Aselton, Navid Negahban, Jemaine Clement and Hamish Linklater.
