Joel Edgerton and Michelle Williams to star in remake of The Double Hour

May 15, 2013 by admin

Joel Edgerton (Zero Dark Thirty, Warrior) and Michelle Williams (My Week with Marilyn, Shutter Island) are going to star in a remake of The Double Hour, an Italian film from 2009 directed by Giuseppe Capotondi.

Joshua Marston (Maria Full Of Grace) will write and direct the psychological thriller. It focuses on two lovers who find themselves victims in the midst of a dangerous and well-planned robbery.

Indigo Films‘ Nicola Giuliano, Vertigo Entertainment‘s Roy Lee and Journeyman Pictures‘ Paul Mezey are producing. Silver Reel Entertainment and Lotus Entertainment have partnered to finance and sell the film in Cannes.

Edgerton can next be seen in Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby with Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan, which is due out in the UK on May 16th. He has also completed the thriller Felony with Jai Courtney and Melissa George, and is currently filming Jane Got a Gun with Natalie Portman and Ewan McGregor. Williams‘ next project is the romantic drama Suite francaise with Kristin Scott Thomas and Matthias Schoenaerts.
