Aussie actor Luke Bracey (Home and Away, G.I. Joe: Retaliation) has joined the cast of Alcon Entertainment’s Point Break remake, where he’s set to play the Keanu Reeves role of FBI agent Johnny Utah.
Bracey will star alongside Gerard Butler (300, Olympus Has Fallen), who will take on the Patrick Swayze role of Bodhi in the upcoming film which is set to be directed by cinematographer Ericson Core (Daredevil, The Fast and the Furious).
Point Break will retain much of the same plot as the Kathryn Bigelow-helmed original, although it will shift the action from the California surf scene to the world of extreme sports.
