In news coming out of the American Film Market, Adam Driver (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) and Rooney Mara (Carol) are to star in Annette, the English-language debut of Holy Motors director Leos Carax, which also has Rihanna (Home) set to feature in a minor role
According to Variety, Annette “depicts the rise and fall of an intense love story and will boast Carax’s singular visual style and atmosphere, bringing back the key crew that worked on Holy Motors.” It will also feature original song from the art-rock band Sparks.
Driver has several movies incoming, including Silence, Paterson and Star Wars: Episode VIII, while Mara has Lion, The Secret Scripture and The Discovery on the horizon and is currently shooting Mary Magdalene.
