Producer Frank Marshall hints at Indiana Jones 5

Last week it was announced that Walt Disney Pictures had reached an agreement with Paramount Pictures over the rights to Lucasfilm’s other movie franchise Indiana Jones, clearing the way for the Fedora-wearing, bullwhip-cracking adventurer to return to the big screen under the Disney banner.

Since its purchase of Lucasfilm, the Mouse House has remained silent with regards to its Indy plans, with the official line from the studio being that the continuation of the Star Wars saga is the sole priority at present, but it seems that Frank Marshall could be gearing up for another outing, with the producer tweeting: “A bit strange sitting in the Indiana Jones office in the Lucasfilm office on the Disney lot, but I’m sure I’ll get used to it.”

Star Harrison Ford, director Steven Spielberg and executive producer George Lucas have all indicated that they’d be happy to return for Indiana Jones 5, but with Ford certainly not getting any younger, they might have to move fast before Disney decides to reboot the series…
