Patrick Wilson set to join Marvel’s Ant-Man

According to Deadline, Watchmen and The Conjuring star Patrick Wilson is set to join Marvel’s Phase Three-launching Ant-Man, although there’s no word yet as to which character he will be playing.

Ant-Man is being directed by Edgar Wright (The World’s End), with Paul Rudd (Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues) playing Scott Lang and Michael Douglas (Behind the Candelabra) set to play the original miniature hero, Dr. Henry ‘Hank’ Pym. Evangeline Lilly (The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug) is also said to be in talks about taking on the female lead, while Michael Pena (End of Watch) is rumoured for a villainous role.

Ant-Man is set for release on July 17th, 2015.
