20th Century Fox developing an X-Men TV series?

October 7, 2014 by Gary Collinson

Considering DC Entertainment has Arrow, The Flash, Gotham, Constantine and the upcoming Supergirl and Marvel has Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. alongside Agent Carter, Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders, this rumour will probably come as little surprise…

According to Bleeding Cool – which was on the money with its Supergirl scoop – it seems that 20th Century Fox is now looking to get in on the small screen superhero action, with the site reporting that the studio is deep in development on a live-action X-Men series.

No further details are included in the report, although rumours are circulating on Twitter that it could take its inspiration from Peter David’s run on X-Factor., which saw the team reimagined as a mutant detective agency led by Jamie Madrox, a.k.a. Multiple Man.

Are you excited about a possible X-Men TV series, and what angle would you like to see it take? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below…
